Terms of Service

JCLiveCut is a screen-recording application for Android, published by ClavelyApps. The App records your device's screen with the audio mode you choose, organizes recordings in a local library, and optionally uploads recordings to your own Google Drive.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country, whichever is higher. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

The App requires sign-in with Google. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you use and for any activity carried out from the App under that account.

You may sign out of the App at any time from inside the App.

The App offers an optional Pro annual subscription, processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. The subscription includes a 7-day free trial. Free users can use the core capture features without paying.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a subscription at any time through your Google Play account: Play Store → Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. For purchases made outside the standard refund window, contact us at support@jclivecut.app — we will assess each request reasonably but cannot guarantee a refund.

Prices, trial duration, and the set of Pro features may change. Changes apply to future billing periods only.

You retain all rights to the recordings you create with the App. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not receive copies of your recordings.

You are solely responsible for what you record. By using the App you confirm that you have the legal right to record the content you capture, including but not limited to: the right to capture audio from any person whose voice is recorded, the right to capture content protected by copyright, and compliance with any applicable consent, broadcasting, or recording laws in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to use the App to: (a) record people without the consent required by the law of your jurisdiction; (b) capture content you have no legal right to capture; (c) circumvent technical protection measures (DRM); (d) infringe third-party intellectual property rights; (e) violate any applicable law; (f) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent expressly permitted by law; (g) use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others.

The App, its name, logo, and underlying software are the property of ClavelyApps and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your devices in accordance with these Terms.

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or if continuing to provide the App would expose us to legal or technical risk.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClavelyApps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of recordings, data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

For users in the European Union and other jurisdictions that prohibit such limitations, nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the principal place of business of ClavelyApps, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.
